Fascism in New Zealand has been a litany of failure and inconsequential squabbles. The most recent failure was the Kyle Chapman’s National Democrats Party giving up on the coming election. The once high profile National Front now only manages a couple of punters outside the Chinese Embassy every now and then.
Unfortunately a history of constant failure and general incompetence isn’t enough for some to give up entirely. The National Democrats are now joining the Nationalist Alliance, which also includes the National Front and the New Right. There’s no reason why this venture will be more successful than the last.

Wrong New Right – that is a group that, although it claims to have members in NZ, is solely based in Australia. It’s run by Welf Herfurth, a former NPD (German neo-fascist party) member.
The New Right that will be part of the Nationalist Alliance was based at http://www.geocities.com/newright_nz although it hasn’t been active for a long time (it was subsumed into the National Democrats). It’s run by long time fascist and satanist Kerry Bolton, and is an entirely a Wellington based group (it was originally the Welly National Front branch, but left the NF when Kyle Chapman left).
For more on that New Right, see http://www.fightdemback.org/2006/06/29/new-right-what-a-joke/

Thanks Asher, correction made!
The nice folks at Fight Dem Back had filled me in on that as well.
So the National Democrats’ ‘alliance’ is limtied to one of their own members and the organisation they split from. How ridiculous.
So have Chapman and Foljambe made up with Ansell or does the National Front have a new leader?

For someone who takes such an interest in the conservative movement, Asher Goldman is astonishingly ignorant. Firstly, New Right is not run by Kerry Bolton – he resigned from it a couple of years ago and joined the National Democrats. And secondly, New Right was not “subsumed into the National Democrats”. It is a separate organization. Three parties – the National Democrats, New Right, and the National Front, have formed the Nationalist Alliance with the aim of putting aside our differences in the national interest. I can’t imagine the myriad factions of the Marxist left doing that….. eh, Asher?

Thanks for clarifying that Anton.
I’m still curious about who are the New Right and the nature of the reconciliation between the Nat Dems and the NF. You have been somewhat cold on them.
As for the Marxists it is rather amusing that the
Socialist Workers, oops I mean RAM, talk of building a ‘broad left’ coalition but can’t work with the Workers Party.
